Personalizing the Workspace

This is the fun part – when you get to play around a bit and personalize your workspace. From changing the color scheme and type size to choosing new page and background colors to changing the colors on the toolbar – this is your chance to bring a little more color into your life.

Home Office includes four different color schemes so the user can select the color they prefer. All three applications will take on the same color scheme when it is changed in one application.

To change the color scheme:
1. Click Options button (on the right side of the toolbar next to “About”) to display a drop-down menu.
2. Hover over Style to open the submenu of four choices: Blue, Black, Silver and Aqua. A check mark is shown next to the currently selected scheme.
3. Choose another color scheme.

Just as you can increase the font in your Web browser, so can you increase the size of the font that Corel Home Office uses on the toolbars.

To switch to a larger type:
1. Click Options button (on the right side of the toolbar next to “About”) to display a drop-down menu.
2. Hover over Font to open the submenu of choices.
3. Choose a font size, or revert back to the system default.

By default, the workspace is a white page with a gray background. As it happens, you can change both. It only takes one click to revert back to the Home Office default settings, so go ahead – have some fun.

To change the page color:
1. Click View.
2. Click Options to open the Options dialog box.
3. Click Colors (in the left pane) to display the Color options.
4. Click Page to open a color palette where you can choose a different color.
5. Choose OK.

Note: This does not change the page color, so if you want to print a colored page, you should change the background color instead.
