Getting Help

The fastest way to get started with a new application is to browse through the help topics. In Corel Home Office, help information is organized in several ways. The Help Topics are organized logically into chapters and pages so you can look for specific features.

The Index is an alphabetical list of topics that you can scroll through and select from. The user guide has a main page to help you get started reading through the help topics. There is also a search function that allows you to search for a keyword or phrase. Finally, there is online support that can be accessed from within the Corel Home Office applications.


To display the Help Topics:
1. Click Tools.
2. Click the Help Topics button (the big question mark).
3. Click the plus sign next to a chapter name to open it.
4. Click the page icon (paper with question mark) to display the help topic.

To search for a keyword or phrase:
1. Click Tools.
2. Click the Help Topics button (the big question mark).
3. Click the Search tab.
4. Type the keyword or phrase in the text box then click Search.

To open the User Guide:
1. Click Tools.
2. Click the Guide button (book with question mark).
3. Click one of the underlined blue topics to get started.

To access online support options:
1. Click Tools.
2. Click the Online Support button (plug with blue ball). You’ll see a message box that shows the build version, product key, application and operating system information will be sent to the support site so you don’t have to worry about writing it all down.
3. Click Connect.
